Choose your app type
The app type decides your app's screens and its bottom tabs. You choose it once, on the first page of App setup, and you can change it later.
Academy
Courses, lessons, quizzes, progress and certificates. Students browse courses, continue learning where they stopped, watch protected videos and mark lessons complete. Content from a WordPress LMS (Tutor LMS, LearnPress, LifterLMS, MasterStudy LMS, Sensei LMS, Masteriyo or LearnDash), Teachable, Thinkific, your own API, or courses you add in the dashboard. Store
Products, a cart, checkout and orders, with delivery dates and gift messages for flower and gift shops. Content from WooCommerce, Shopify, ikas, Ticimax, IdeaSoft, your own API, or products you add in the dashboard. See the Store solution.
Restaurant & café
A store for food: your menu with its categories as tabs, dishes with options (a size, a side, extras), pickup or delivery, now or for later, and order tracking with a notification at each step. Customers pay by card in the app, on Android and iPhone. Options, opening hours, pickup, delivery and the kitchen are for restaurants without a website for now; with WooCommerce, dishes use product variations. Bookings
Services, staff, free times and appointments. Customers book a time and see or cancel their appointments; payment happens at your business. Content from Amelia, BookingPress or LatePoint on WordPress, SimplyBook.me, your own API, or services you add in the dashboard. See the Bookings solution.
Clinic
Bookings for doctors, dentists, therapists and other clinics, in the words patients expect: doctors, patients and visits. Patients read each doctor's profile, book a visit and answer your intake questions. The intake form is for clinics without a website for now; with Amelia, BookingPress or LatePoint, patients book without it. See Clinics: doctors, visits and the intake form and the Clinic solution.
Gym & fitness
Class timetables, booking a spot, and memberships for gyms, studios and coaches. Members see the week's classes with the spots left, book a spot and buy a membership or a class pack by card. Classes and memberships are for gyms without a website for now; personal sessions can also come from Amelia, BookingPress or LatePoint. Real estate
Property listings with search and filters, favorites and messages to your office. Listings are always managed in the Yallapp dashboard, so you don't need a website. See the Real estate solution.
News & blog
Articles, sections and breaking-news alerts for news sites, blogs and magazines. Readers browse the latest stories and sections, search, save articles to read later and share them. Content from your WordPress posts, any website's RSS or Atom feed, your own API, or articles you write in the dashboard. Reading is free: there's no paid content in the app. See the News & blog solution and News and blog apps.
Events & tickets
Event listings with a calendar, free sign-ups and paid tickets with QR codes checked at the door. People keep their tickets in the app, also offline, and hear when an event changes. Events are managed in the Yallapp dashboard, so you don't need a website. See the Events & tickets solution and Events and tickets.
Charity & donations
Campaigns with their story, a goal and a progress bar, for charities, food banks, foundations and community groups. Supporters choose an amount and donate on your secure donation page, into your own iyzico, Kashier, Fawaterk, Stripe or PayPal account, and get a receipt by email. Campaigns are managed in the Yallapp dashboard, so you don't need a website. On iPhone, the donation page opens in the browser, as Apple requires. Changing the app type later
Open App setup and choose another type. Your next build includes the new type's screens. Content made for the old type, such as a shop or a bookings setup, doesn't carry over: go through the Website step again to choose the new type's content.
