If the store rejects your app
Apple and Google explain each rejection in their message. These are the most common reasons, and how to fix them.
- 1
Reviewers couldn't sign in
Set a review phone number and fixed code (on the dashboard's App sign-in page, or Store review access in the WordPress plugin) and give both to the reviewers: under App access in Google Play Console, and under App Review Information in App Store Connect.
- 2
Missing privacy information
Add a privacy policy page, link it in both stores and on the Store listing step, and complete the data safety (Google) and App Privacy (Apple) answers.
- 3
Not enough content
Make sure the review account can see real content: courses with lessons, products, services or listings. An empty app can be rejected for limited functionality.
- 4
Purchases on iOS
Your iOS app doesn't sell paid courses or digital products. Remove prices and links to buy them from your App Store description and screenshots.
- 5
Account deletion
Apple requires that people can delete their account in the app. Yallapp apps have it in the account settings; point the reviewer to it if they ask.
- 6
Content that looks like a website
Apple can reject apps that look like a web page in a frame. Build your home page with blocks in Pages and look, and use native lists of your content rather than a single web page.
