Sign-in codes don't arrive
Most problems with sign-in codes come from the phone number or the way codes are sent. Check these in order.
- 1
Check the phone number
People must enter their number with the right country code. Compare it with the number on their account (on WordPress, in their WordPress account).
- 2
Codes sent by Yallapp: check WhatsApp
Codes are sent on WhatsApp, through waabek.com. The number must have WhatsApp, and the phone must be online. Ask the person to look in their WhatsApp chats, including archived ones.
- 3
WordPress: check who sends the codes
In WordPress, open Yallapp and look at Sign-in codes in the Compatibility status card.
- Sent by Yallapp (WhatsApp): codes go out on WhatsApp, like for apps without a website, so the number must have WhatsApp. Your license must be active: if a code couldn't be sent, the Sign-in settings show why.
- Digits: use the same phone number to sign in on your website. If the code doesn’t arrive there either, the problem is in Digits or your SMS or WhatsApp gateway: check its balance, your sender name or approved message template, and its delivery logs. Or choose Sent by Yallapp (WhatsApp) instead.

Wait a few minutes
Codes are limited per phone number and per network to stop abuse. After several attempts, people have to wait before asking for a new code. A code is valid for a few minutes only.
