Videos don't play

The app plays the same video sources your courses use: uploaded videos, videos from your Media library, YouTube, Vimeo and embedded players.

  1. 1

Play the lesson on your website or platform

Open the lesson while signed in as a student. If it doesn’t play there, fix the lesson first.

  2. 2

    Allow embedding

For YouTube and Vimeo, the video’s privacy settings must allow embedding. For Vimeo videos limited to certain domains, add your website’s domain.

  3. 3

    The video site's own player

Videos from YouTube, Vimeo and other video sites play in the site's own player, with its controls and logo. On Screen protection you can choose Hide the video site's branding (at your own risk): the app then plays them behind its own controls. YouTube's terms don't allow apps to hide its branding, and YouTube can block such videos from playing in the app: if YouTube videos stop playing, turn it off.

  4. 4

    Reopen the lesson

Uploaded videos play from temporary links. If a lesson stayed open for a long time, or the phone’s date and time are wrong, close it and open it again.
