Connect your Wix store
Your Store app can take its products, categories, prices and stock from your Wix store. Customers pay on Wix's own checkout page, inside the app.
- A Wix site with Wix Stores, and access to its dashboard
- Your Yallapp app type set to Store
- 1
Create an OAuth app in Wix
In your Wix site's dashboard, open Settings and then Headless Settings. Under OAuth apps, create a new OAuth app and give it a name, for example "Mobile app". Copy its Client ID.
The client ID only lets the app see your store as a visitor of your website does: your products, and a checkout for each cart. It can't change anything.
- 2
Optional: order history
To show customers their orders in the app, create an API key:
- In Wix, open your account's API Keys page (from the account menu) and select Generate API Key.
- Give it a name and the permission to read Wix Stores and eCommerce orders. To find more of each customer's orders, also allow reading Contacts.
- Copy the API key. Wix shows it only once.
- Copy your site ID: it's in your site dashboard's address, after /dashboard/.
Orders are matched exactly to the phone number customers sign in with, so they must use the same number in your store.
- 3
Enter them on the Website step
In your Yallapp dashboard, open App setup › Website, choose Another store platform and then Wix. Enter:
- Client ID from the OAuth app.
- API key and Site ID (optional, together), for order history. You can paste your whole site dashboard address as the site ID.
- Store address (optional): the address your customers visit, such as www.your-store.com. Shoppers come back to it after checkout.
Select Save & continue. We check the client ID and the key with Wix before saving.
Your Wix categories become your app's categories. On iPhones, carts with digital products can't be checked out, as Apple's rules require. Product reviews are off for Wix apps. Wix stores still on Wix's older product catalog can't be connected yet.
