Products, orders and shipping

Store apps without a website sell the products you add on the dashboard's Products page. Changes show in the app right away.

Products

Select New product and fill in:

  • Name, description and photos
  • Price and an optional Sale price, shown with the regular price crossed out
  • Stock: leave it empty if you don't count stock; at 0 the product shows as out of stock
  • Categories, and an optional product code
  • Digital product: nothing to ship, like a gift card. No shipping is charged, and the iPhone app doesn't sell it (Apple's rules)
  • Featured: shown first on the app's home screen
  • Show in the app: turn it off to hide a product without deleting it

Every product also has its own web page to share.

Variations

For a product in sizes, colours and the like, add up to three Variations under the product, like Size with S, M, L and Colour with Red, Blue, then Add the missing combinations. Each combination can have its own Price and Sale price (leave them empty for the product's), stock and product code; untick On sale to stop selling one. In the app the customer chooses a value of each, and the price, stock and photo follow; the product's list price shows the range. Each order line names the combination, and paying for it takes down its own stock. Restaurants use Options instead (see Restaurants and cafés).

Categories

Group your products, like "Bouquets" or "Gifts". Customers browse them in the app.

Shipping

Set a Shipping fee for orders with physical products (leave it empty for free shipping) and, optionally, Free shipping from an order amount.

Tax

If you charge VAT, KDV or a similar tax, set its Tax rate (%) and Tax name under Shop settings on the Products page. With My prices include the tax ticked (the usual way in Türkiye), the totals stay as they are and the cart, the receipt and your order email show how much of the total is tax. Untick it to add the tax on top, to the products after a coupon or points and to the shipping: the cart shows the tax as its own line and the payment charges the total with it. Leave the rate empty for no tax.

Coupons

Under Coupons on the Products page, add codes your customers type in the app's cart, like SPRING10: a Percentage off or an Amount off the products (shipping stays as it is), with an optional Minimum order, Last day and number of Uses. The cart shows what the coupon takes off and the total, or why it doesn't apply, and the payment page charges the total less the discount. Each paid order counts one use. Turn off stops a coupon for now; orders show the coupon they used.

Apps on WooCommerce work the same way with your WooCommerce coupons: the cart checks the code, and your checkout applies it (Yallapp plugin 0.4.15 or later). Apps on Shopify send the code with the order to your shop's checkout; on other connected platforms the cart reminds customers to enter it at checkout.

Payments

Customers pay by card on a secure page of your provider (iyzico, Kashier, Fawaterk, Stripe or PayPal). Add your own keys: see Card payments.

Orders

Paid orders appear on the Orders page, and you get an email for each one. Mark an order completed when it's delivered, or cancelled when needed, and refund it, in full or in part, with Refund under it (see Card payments). Customers see their orders, their status and what was refunded in the app. They get a notification when you mark an order completed or cancelled (you can turn these off under App notifications › Automatic notifications, "Order updates") and when you add its tracking; they can turn order updates off in the app's settings.

Returns

To take returns in the app, set Returns in the app (days) under Shop settings on the Products page: the number of days after you mark an order completed that customers may ask to return it. Leave it empty for no returns in the app. Customers choose a reason and can add a note; orders with only downloads can't be returned. You get a notification in Yallapp Business, and the request shows under the order on the Orders page, where you Approve return or Decline it with an optional reply. The customer is told in the app, even with order updates off. Refund the order with Refund when you get it back.

Loyalty points

On every plan but Starter, give your customers points: under Loyalty points on the Products page, turn on Give loyalty points and set the Spend for one point (10 means an order of 450 earns 45 points), what One point is worth (0.10 means 100 points take 10 off) and the Fewest points used at once.

  • Customers earn points on what they paid for the products (after a coupon, without shipping) when you mark the order completed.
  • In the app's cart, signed-in customers turn on Use points, and the total goes down by what they're worth. The points are spent when the order is paid.
  • A paid order you cancel, or refund in full, gives back the points it used. A full refund, or a return you approve, takes back the points it earned.
  • Customers see their balance and history under Account › My points, and each order shows the points it used and earned, here and in the app.

Turning points off hides them in the app; customers keep their points for when you turn them on again.
