Publish on Samsung Galaxy Store

Put your Android app on Galaxy Store, the app store on every Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet, under your own seller account. It's the same Android app as on Google Play. You upload the first version yourself; on the Pro and Business plans we upload every version after that.

Before you start
  • A Samsung account, and a seller account in Galaxy Store Seller Portal
  • Your Android app (.apk) from Builds & downloads
  • Your store assets: icon, screenshots and the listing texts
  • A privacy policy page on your website, or anywhere public
  1. 1

    Create your seller account

Sign in to Galaxy Store Seller Portal (seller.samsungapps.com) with your Samsung account and complete your profile. Samsung charges no registration fee. A company applies for commercial seller status in Seller Portal with its company documents; Samsung checks them before you can sell paid apps.

  2. 2

Add your app and upload the first version

In Seller Portal, choose Add New Application, select Android, and enter your app's default language and name. Under Binary, upload the .apk file from Builds & downloads. Samsung doesn't let any tool register a new app, so this first upload is always done by hand.

Upload the .apk, not the App Bundle. The .apk is signed with your app's upload key, the same key every later version uses.

  3. 3

Fill in the listing and submit

Add the description, icon (512 × 512) and screenshots from your store assets, your privacy policy link and the age rating. Under Country/Region, choose where to sell it. Then select Submit. Samsung reviews the app, usually within a few days.

Give the reviewers your review phone number and fixed code in the notes for the review: from the dashboard's App sign-in page, or, for apps on WordPress or their own API, the Store review account on Publishing (required before a build).

  4. 4

Pro and Business: let us upload every update

Once your app is on sale, open Assistance › API Service in Seller Portal and choose Create Service Account, with the Publishing scope. Copy the service account ID and its private key. Then open Publishing › More Android stores in your dashboard and enter them with your app's content ID (the number Seller Portal shows for your app). From then on, every build you start is uploaded to Galaxy Store and sent for review.

When our team publishes for you

With Publish it for me, tick Samsung Galaxy Store on the Publishing page. Then, in Seller Portal, invite our team email as a manager for your applications (from your account's manager accounts). Samsung sends us the invitation and we do the rest. You never share your password.
