Welcome to Yallapp
Yallapp builds your own branded Android and iOS apps. Your app can be an academy, a store, a bookings app or a real estate app, and it gets its content from the website you already run, from an online platform you use, from your own API, or from the Yallapp dashboard if you have no website. This documentation takes you through every step, in plain words.
How Yallapp works
- You set up your app in the dashboard: its type, where its content comes from, its name, icon, colors and pages.
- Your content stays where it is. With a website or an online platform, the app reads it live. Without one, you add your products, courses, services or listings in the dashboard.
- We build your apps. You get the files for Google Play, the App Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery and Xiaomi GetApps, your signing key and your store assets.
- You publish them under your own name, with our guides, or we publish them for you on the Pro and Business plans.
- You change your app without a new version. Pages, look, languages and content change from the dashboard and show the next time the app opens.
What you need
- Your content: a website on a supported platform, your own API, or nothing at all
- A Google Play developer account, and an Apple Developer Program membership for iPhones (see Developer accounts); free Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi accounts if you want your app in their stores too
- Your app icon (a square PNG, 1024 × 1024 pixels) and your logo
- A free Firebase project, if you want push notifications (see Push notifications with Firebase)
Your path to the stores
- Create your account and get it activated.
- Choose your app type.
- Choose where your content comes from and connect it.
- Complete the setup steps: branding, store listing and publishing.
- Build your pages and look and turn on languages.
- Download your apps from Builds & downloads and publish them on Google Play and the App Store, and if you like on Samsung Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery and Xiaomi GetApps.
